more or less retired. And we wondered: What do they do now, how are
they, what are their plans?
In the early 2000s,
nobody knows about Tokio Hotel and Bill and Tom are just two teenagers
from Magdeburg, but already looming behind the scenes of drama.
According to rumors by that time, a war took place around twins - many
labels wanted to committed to put more hands in their pockets to take
them under contract. They had good intuition since a few years later the
group got success with " Durch den Monsun ". Fans loved Bill's
androgynous style with hair follies and his brother Tom, wearing
dreadlocks and with the guitar in his lap. The result is good: CDs and t
-shirts of the band sold millions in stores. But for some fans, the
excitement for the Kaulitz twins ( 24) goes too far: for them, it has
become a sport to go after Tokio Hotel. In 2009, five French girls don't
let the group go from their soles. They call their hunt "a kind of
competition," but Tokio Hotel feel otherwise, as the are being stalked.
At a petrol pump in Hamburg, Tom loses his self-control, one of the
girls said that he hit her. It will be followed by nasty letters from
lawyers - and in 2010 , the brothers moved to Los Angeles. "It would
degenerate at one time or another, and then we thought : Where else can
we go?" Tom said, shortly before leaving Germany. "We have wanted, first
of all, a place where we could finally be creative again." They are
bels and productive assets there - but in terms of music, the album is
not here yet.
But in early 2012, new photos of Bill came out.
Paparazzi surprises in LA: emaciated and with a scary skeleton tattoo on
the back of the hand. Bill seems threatening, but is nevertheless still
nice/cute - what the public can see at the tenth season of "DSDS". Bill
and Tom returned from the USA some time for the show, but still bland
alongside Pop titan Dieter Bohlen (59). But a cute anecdote brings a
little something to the tenth season of "DSDS": The "assistant", Olivia
Jones (44), joked: "When I see what Bill looks like - I can say that I
am not the only transsexual here." Following this, Olivia may not
approach from Bill on "Bild". The headlines do not tarnish the
admiration of hardcore fans. They vote with the application on the MTV
European Music Awards 2013, thus Tokio Hotel won the "Biggest Fans"
category. And while the brothers keep posting pictures of them on a
motorcycle (Tom) or with members of a girlband with Tokio Hotel t -
shirts (Bill) on Twitter, their fans keep waiting patiently for a new
album. According to rumors, it would be out in the middle of this year
and the end of November, and now 2014. Then we can again earn the
money...
2003: It all started in the casting show "Star Search." Bill fails at that time in the second round of 10-15 years.
2005: They begin by crossing the monsoon (with "Durch den Monsun"),
then they conquer the world. The band Tokio Hotel, founded by twins Bill
(second from right) and Tom Kaulitz is a Pop phenomenon.
2012:
The paparazzi are not Bill's best friends - he gets away behind a pack
of cigarettes and a hand with a scary skeleton tattoo.
2013:
Lost boys return from America to Germany as members of "DSDS" jury.
However, they remain gentle alongside Titan Pop Bohlen.
2013:
Here's how they look as big winners. MTV EMAs, they win in the "Biggest
Fans" category. Regarding the new album, we probably have to wait until
2014.
