While a handful of unique awards were given out, the most coveted was the Fan Army FTW. Beating out Big Bang’s VIP and Thirty Seconds to Mars’ Echelon, Tokio Hotel’s Aliens won the crown for the fourth time. Tokio Hotel’s Bill Kaulitz thanked fans, adding, "we’re in the studio still, but, we’re definitely going to put out something this year. I promise here now 100 percent."
